Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 18, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and The Professional Playground, LLC (“PPG,” “we,” “us” or “our”). They apply to your PPG membership and to everything we offer, including our website at theppg.llc, the PPG member app, member profiles and digital business cards, the member directory, the Opportunity Board, booking pages, PPG events and any other PPG services (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, joining as a member, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who can use PPG
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You agree to give accurate, current information about yourself and your business, and to keep it up to date.
- Your account is for you alone. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you join on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
2. Membership, dues and renewals
- Membership options, prices and what each includes are shown on our Membership page at the time you join or renew.
- Dues are paid in advance for the membership term shown when you pay. Your membership runs for that term and is not automatically charged again: we will remind you before it ends, and you choose whether to renew.
- Unless we state otherwise in writing at the time of purchase, or the law requires otherwise, dues are non-refundable, including if your membership is suspended or ended for breaking these Terms.
- Some memberships include services from third parties (for example the Sunrise Hub from Sunrise Enterprise Solutions). Those services are provided by that third party under its own terms.
- We may change prices or membership options for future terms. Changes do not affect a term you have already paid for.
3. Professional conduct
PPG is a professional networking community. When you use the Services, attend a PPG event, or contact someone you met through PPG, you agree to:
- Act honestly, professionally and respectfully toward members, guests, presenters, Host Partners, venue staff and the PPG team.
- Not harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk or discriminate against anyone, including on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or any other protected characteristic.
- Respect each venue’s rules and property. Host Partners open their spaces to us as a courtesy.
- Not misrepresent yourself, your business, your qualifications or your relationship with PPG.
- Follow up with people in a reasonable, professional way, and stop contacting anyone who asks you to.
4. Lawful use only: things you may not do
You agree not to use the Services, PPG events, or information you obtain through PPG to:
- Do anything illegal, or promote, plan or help anyone else do anything illegal.
- Commit or attempt fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, or any deceptive or unfair business practice.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or add people to mailing lists, text lists or marketing campaigns without their permission.
- Sell, rent, publish or share other members’ or guests’ contact information, or use it for anything other than genuine, one-to-one professional networking.
- Copy, scrape, harvest or download member information in bulk, by automated means or otherwise.
- Upload or share anything that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Upload viruses or harmful code, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with how the Services work.
- Impersonate any person or business, or use a false identity.
- Use PPG, its name or its logo to suggest that PPG endorses you, your business or any transaction.
5. Your profile and content
- You keep ownership of what you add to the Services, such as your profile, photo, business details, posts and links (“your content”).
- You give PPG permission to host, display and share your content within the Services as you have set it up (for example on your public profile, digital business card and in the member directory), and to show your name, business and photo in connection with PPG recognition and promotion of the community.
- You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
6. Contact information and the member app
- Contacts, notes and tags you save in the contact book of the PPG member app are stored only on your own device. PPG does not receive them. You are responsible for backing them up and for how you use them.
- Messages you send from the app (for example follow-ups, introductions or booking links) are sent from your own phone or email account, not by PPG. You are responsible for what you send.
- When someone shares their details with you through PPG, use them only to follow up professionally and in line with applicable privacy, anti-spam and telemarketing laws.
7. PPG events
- You attend PPG events, and any meetings you arrange through PPG, voluntarily and at your own risk.
- Photos and video are often taken at PPG events. By attending, you agree that PPG may use photos, video and audio in which you appear to promote PPG, on our website, social media, newsletters and other materials, without payment. If you would prefer not to be featured, please tell a PPG team member at the event.
- Presenters are responsible for the accuracy of what they present and for having the rights to any material they share.
8. Business between members
PPG helps people meet. Any referral, introduction, recommendation, meeting, agreement or transaction between members, guests, presenters or Host Partners is solely between those people. PPG is not a party to it, does not vet, endorse or guarantee anyone’s services, qualifications or conduct, and is not responsible for the outcome. Please do your own due diligence. Recognitions such as Featured Members are not endorsements.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your membership or access to the Services, remove your content, or ask you not to attend events, if we believe you have broken these Terms, acted unprofessionally or unlawfully, or put the community or PPG at risk. You can stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12) continue after your membership ends.
10. Disclaimers
The Services and events are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, PPG makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any business results will follow from your membership.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PPG and its owners, team members, mentors and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from or related to the Services, PPG events, or your dealings with other people you meet through PPG. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid PPG in membership dues in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PPG and its owners, team members and volunteers from any claims, losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your conduct at PPG events, your content, your dealings with others you meet through PPG, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make an important change, we will ask you to review and agree to the updated Terms the next time you use the Services. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Services. The date at the top shows when these Terms were last updated.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
